It began with a vision in 2010—a modest yet ambitious lab setup at Exsan, where innovation first met intention. Driven by a desire to elevate automotive fluid technology, our first full-fledged R&D facility was established. By 2014, this commitment bore fruit: we had successfully completed research and development on 100 formulations, each one audited and validated by the prestigious BVQI Global Quality Audit System. What started as a spark soon ignited a legacy of technical innovation and product excellence.

Today, R&D is not just a division at Exsan—it is the backbone of our operations. Our Quality Assurance Team plays a critical role, conducting daily evaluations to greenlight only the most robust, vehicle-ready solutions. The result? An impeccable 20+ year track record of error-free brake fluid production, recognized for surpassing the strictest global quality parameters.

At Exsan, innovation extends beyond product chemistry. We are proud to be the only company in India to produce Engine Oil Treatment in composite fibre cans, and we offer 100% rust-proof metal cans with a unique Plasma Polyamide treatment—guaranteed rust-free for 24 months. These innovations aren’t just about aesthetics—they represent our relentless pursuit of durability, safety, and sustainability.

Looking ahead, we are expanding our footprint. A new 3-acre manufacturing unit including a R&D facility is currently underway, set to be commissioned soon. This state-of-the-art centre will elevate our capabilities with advanced testing machinery, increased production capacity, and even greater agility in meeting global market demands.
