4 Minutes Steel Quick Set Epoxy

4 Minutes Steel – Quick Set Epoxy is a high-strength, steel-filled two-part adhesive and filler designed for fast repairs and durable bonding in demanding automotive, marine, and industrial environments. With a rapid 4-minute set time and full cure in 24 hours, this epoxy hardens to a steel like mass that can be drilled, tapped, filed, sanded, or painted. The innovative formulation offers excellent gap-filling capability, non-shrinking behaviour, and superior adhesion to many substrates.

Additional Information

Key Benefits:

  • Fast Cure Time: Sets in just 4 minutes, allowing quick repairs.
  • Steel-like Hardness: Once cured, provides a tough, machinable surface.
  • Gap-Filling & Non-Shrinking: Fills voids and resists shrinkage or slumping.
  • Multi-Material Bonding: Bonds to steel, iron, brass, bronze, copper, wood, concrete, plastic, and ceramics.
  • High Pressure & Temperature Resistance: Withstands operational stresses and harsh environments.
  • Excellent chemical and fluid resistance (oils, fuels, coolants)
  • Can be sanded, drilled, tapped, filed, or painted after cure
  • Works well on cracked housings, valve seats, radiator or gas tank leaks, stripped threads, worn pulleys, loose screws, etc.
  • Affordable solution compared to welding or metal replacement in many repair scenarios
  • Adhesive remains stable and durable in indoor or outdoor use

Instructions for Use:

  1. Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free of oil, grease, rust, or paint.
  2. Mix equal parts of Part A (resin) and Part B (hardener) thoroughly until color becomes uniform.
  3. Use the mixed epoxy immediately—apply within its 4-minute working window.
  4. Press parts together (if applicable), then support or clamp lightly until set.
  5. After full cure (approx. 24 hours), the repair can be sanded, drilled, painted or machined as required.

Meets the requirements of:
